The buyers at HomeGoods travel around the world to bring back unique, authentic merchandise for the stores. This is an exploratory sign package for a Mexico specific merchandise event. It was featured at a select 500 HomeGoods stores across the United States.

All work was produced while working at The TJX Companies.

The merchandise was full of fun patterns and bright, rich colors. I used that as inspiration for my initial sketches and color palettes.

Eventually I transformed my sketches into a pattern that reflected the hand-crafted feeling of the merchandise. I chose a color palette that felt just rich enough to compliment the merchandise without competing with it.
