Knots by D is a local macramé business that sells handmade, plant-dyed wall-hangings, plant holders, and more. The owner asked for a brand identity to represent her beautiful, unique products.

When concepting the logo, I created illustrations of knots and hand-lettered type that mimics the rope. In the end we went with a super simplistic representation of a wall-hanging that also resembles a D. I provided a solid option for usage over photography, and a line-drawing option for solid backgrounds.
In thinking about the usage of this logo, it was clear that it needed to be versatile. The macramé products range widely in color, and inspired the final brand color palette.
